When it comes to laundry, there are a few simple things you can do to make sure your clothes last.
Wash less. Think twice before washing your clothes. If you're going to wash it, try to get away with just one or two washes—and only wash it once!
Wash at low temperatures. If you have the option, try using cold water and a low temperature setting on your machine.
Pay attention to care labels. Don't be afraid to read through them before you throw anything into your machine—they'll tell you exactly how long an item needs to be stored before washing (and how long after washing if it's dry clean only).
Use eco-laundry powders and detergents. These products will help extend the life of your clothes and make them smell better too!
Wash inside out. This might sound like an obvious tip but trust us: it works! It will save you money in the long run because you won't need any special drying agents or extra laundry baskets for everything in one load anymore (which means less time spent doing laundry).
Air dry everything else when possible (like socks and underwear), but if not, hang things up immediately
